A little over a year ago, i made a major professional decision that only my closest friends new about. Bel has always been a friend from his years at Yupangco and eventually JBMusic… but i had yet to tell him what happened. i was about to ask him about my standing as an endorser for a couple of brands… as someone who was merely a part of a respected group, i was ready to be dropped. It is a consequence of my decision that i was ready to accept, although it was never a pleasurable thing to hear. but before i had the chance to send him a message, he texted me… and told me he heard of what happened, and that he will stand by me and continue his, and i suppose JBMusic’s, support.
i didn’t ask, or even had the time to ask. he just wanted to let me know… specially at a time when most people who were close to me were actually fence-sitting, doing their best to be professionally neutral, which i do understand. Bel texted some really nice supportive messages which helped a lot… because even when you have no doubt with yourself that you did the right thing, knowing that there are people who will stand by you feels very good indeed :)
Now, if a guy with this big a heart can do this, what more when he’s a husband with the woman he loves? :)
Nadine, you are indeed blessed by the Lord to be with Bel :D
and Rico… that was the BEST version of ‘Your Universe’ ever :D
