lastly, im a big nikon fan as well. just want to ask you, why not canon? i heard big time celebrity "photographers" are pro canon.

used an 18-105mm 3.5-5.6G for that event. did not use the flash. i just raised the ISO settings. both are extremely good brands. i have many photographer friends who take great photos regardless of brand, and i know some people who take shitty photos no matter what camera they use. as for myself, i am having so much fun with the nikon cameras im using now - the powerful, bang for the buck d7000. and the p300, the most amazing point and shoot i have ever used.
